Wiltons
Wilton’s is a traditional British restaurant that offers delicious British cuisine including a variety of foods which include wild fish, and wild game. Wilton’s is open during the week from Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays and are located on 55 Jermyn Street in London and has been around since 1742.
Wilton’s has won several awards for it’s culinary delight including winning the World Oyster Championships in 1999 and 2001.
They won the World’s Best Oyster Presentation in 2004 as well as the coveted Bronze Medal at the 2006 World Oyster Championships. They have also won a Silver Medal at the European Oyster Championships in 2006 and have also won the prestigious British Oyster Championships from 2001 all the way until 2008 making them back to back British Champions 7 years in a row.
You can order delicious first courses such as Lobster Bisque Newburg or even smoked Eel. If you don’t really care too much for seafood there is also wild duck, lamb, pheasant, and woodcock.
For dessert there are many tasty dishes to choose from including the famous Raspberry crème brulee. As well as apple and fig crumble or the very popular Sherry trifle.
Overall, Wilton’s is one of the most expensive restaurants in London so be prepared to bring your wallet loaded or extra space on the credit card as you divulge yourself into the world of delicious existence.
